Marvel Rivals, the newly released 6v6 multiplayer game, takes a new turn in the hero shooter genre and competes with Overwatch with already a great player base. While the gameplay is fun, it isn’t all Marvel Rivals characters are balanced enough to cope. These overpowered and unfair heroes always make the player’s gaming experience a virtual hell. In this list, we’ve rounded up the most annoying characters in Marvel Rivals that players already hate for various balance reasons.
Despite being the cutest character in Marvel Rivals, this little monster is hated by everyone, and I mean, hated by everyone. In almost every game I’ve played in the past three days, Jeff has been one constant and frustrating nuisance in my games. He can heal players like no other Strategist at Marvel Rivals and give free boosts of your own free will.
But what makes this adorable monster the most annoying character in Marvel Rivals is his ultimate nature. Jeff can eat anyone in his ultimate life and do whatever he wants. And well, almost in every game from the start, I was thrown off the map after being eaten alive.
Without Jeff’s ultimate ability, Iron Fist would take the crown for being the most annoying character you can encounter in Marvel Rivals. Unlike other Duelists in Marvel Rivals, he is too tanky and can take out anyone with a few clicks. If you play one of the strategists, you will always have to be ready for a fist flank.
Since the game’s visual indicators aren’t responsive enough, you might not even notice when an Iron Fist player comes in and goes after you to kill you. Are movement makes him an impossible target to kill and players hate facing him, with many calling for a nerf to the character.
While the strategists are all too good as heroes in the game, their weakness is how weak they are in terms of their HP pool. Well, that’s where Loki comes in and takes the crown as a hated character in Marvel Rivals. He is literally an indestructible support player.
Loki can conjure numerous illusions that also deal damage to enemy heroes. In such a fast-paced game, it can always feel risky to prioritize the illusions first. Worst of all, Loki can also teleport between his illusions, making it impossible to target him in Marvel Rivals. And if that wasn’t enough, he can turn invisible and heal allies.
While Venom isn’t exactly a broken character, he is hated for his overpowered shield with a low cooldown. He can switch in and out of fights with ease and deal consistent damage despite having a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals. This makes him one of the strongest tanks in the game that can be a meat shield and also destroy enemies with damage.
It can get frustrating fighting an enemy Venom that can regenerate 100% of lost health into bonus health every 15 seconds. If you like playing tanks, try Venom and you too can be the annoying meat shield against every enemy team in Marvel Rivals.
Psylocke is one of the strongest duelists in Marvel Rivals. Her damaging skills and normal attacks aren’t as bad as the others. However, when it comes to the moves, she is the most annoying character to interact with in Marvel Rivals. She can run in and out of fights, which comes with a bit of a cooldown.
But it’s not the only bad thing about her equipment. She can also become invisible; leave no trail for the enemies to follow. It also helps her develop her ultimate abilities. Her ultimate can melt enemies in seconds. However, the part that all players hate is this character becomes invulnerable while using the ultimate in Marvel Rivals.
In addition to these five characters, here are a few more honorable mentions; these heroes in Marvel Rivals feel annoying, but not that overpowering. Cloak and Dagger are one of the most hated heroes because of the amount of utility they bring. Of constant ability to heal self and ally, along with massive damaging abilitiesthey are also the best S-tier hero in our Marvel Rivals Tier List.
Hawkeye can also be a huge headache from a distance, especially if you’re a mainstay or hero with low HP. Are charged normal attack can shoot 200 HP characters in one shot which seems unfair in a game without global healing. Spider-Man is a difficult character to master, but if there are any good Spidey players out there, prepare to get KO’d every time he enters. The frustrating part? He can wave goodbye after you’re done.
These Marvel Rivals characters need balance changes to make them less hated by players. Until then, I hope to stay away from them. Which Marvel Rivals character do you find most annoying? Let us know in the comments.
